We offer packages of calls . You may choose how many calls to buy and once your purchase is complete, we email you a unique coupon code. You can keep your code all for yourself or share with interested parties.  If you are unsatisfied with our service, we will offer you a full refund no questions asked. 

Talking to a current student is extremely helpful because they have an in-depth understanding of their college, offering personalized insights into academics, campus life, parties, and more.This direct connection gives confidence in your college decisions before you make any binding decisions. 

 

Put simply, Connect U is a platform that lets high school students talk directly with current college students. Providing invaluable insights into academics, admissions, nightlife, and more. The only way to know what a school is really like is by talking to a current student. 

While every call is as unique as each prospective student’s situation, a typical call includes these three major components:

  1. First, we listen to your unique situation and understand your priorities when evaluating a college. Often, some of the biggest realizations come during this time as prospective students and parents think through their desires out loud.
  2. Having learned about you, the student host will then share brief background about themselves and their experience with college. They’ll be sure to tailor this background towards the key areas of interest you’ve highlighted previously, such as majors, minors, athletics, and extracurriculars. As accepted students, they can also talk about their own application experience and what they did to stand out.
  3. Question time! The student host will answer any questions you have about college as candidly as possible. As they are 100% unaffiliated with admissions, everything you hear is their truth; they are not trying to sell the college but rather help you decide whether it’s a good fit.

*For parents, there is a specific emphasis on supporting your child through the difficult college process. In addition to these three sections, as long as your request falls within our broad scope of acceptable topics, you can talk about anything of interest to you!

 

It costs $19.99 for a 15 minute call, $29.99 for a 30 minute call, and $44.99 for an hour long call. When buying a bundle of calls, the prices are reduced significantly per call. 

To book a session, head to the “Book A Call” button, select what school you are interested in, and choose your student to call with. 

 

While your student host can talk openly and honestly about a wider scope of topics than traditional admissions ambassadors due to our unaffiliated status, a few specific topics are off-limits to protect our student hosts and their communities. For this reason, we will not discuss or mention the names of specific students, professors, or staff members on campus, and our personal uses regarding taboo topics such as sex, drugs, and alcohol (although we’re happy to speak generally on these topics).We also reserve the right to terminate calls with disrespectful individuals at all times without refund.

While we try our very best to keep an updated availibility schedule, and remind our team of upcoming calls, accidents do happen. In these rare cases, we will issue you a full refund, plus a $10 credit on your next call to amend the situation.
